ELOQUENCE.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Assodatios
(Received June 1, 9 p.m.) PARIS, May 81. Commenting on the growing French mistrust of England over the peace settlement, a Paris paper says: "Mr Lloyd George dwelt eloquently upon Australia's losses in ' human capital ' as a reason for non-accept-ance of the French claims for reparation. French opinion considers that France's own losses were more serious than Australia's those of 'any British Dominion."
