ONE BIG UNION
CONFERENCE OF WORKERS
[Pbebs Association.] (Received June 1, 1.5 am.) MELBOURNE, May 31. The one-big-union conference was comprised mainly, of delegates of railwaymen, waterside workers, and coal-miners. The other big unions were poorly represented.
It was decided to launch departments of transportation and mining, the former embracing railwaymen and watersiders, and the latter coal and shale workers.
The conference represented 64,000 workers.
