The New York Times learns from Tokio that Baron Hayashi, the new Japanese Ambassador to Britain; will take up the negotiations for a renewal of the Anglo-Japanew) Alliance as soon as ho reaches London.
Japanese publicists who support a, renewal of the Alliance say that modifications will be made- in the renewal, but they point out- that theBolshevist* menace to India, is one. of the reasons why Britain should desiiv a. renewal.
