Count Dekergariou and his wife and children were thrown on to the road and badly injured. King Alexander and Madame Manos, who was a nurse during the war, rendered first aid. The Count, who had both legs amputaedt, succumbed to his injuries. His stepson had to have an arm amputated. Telegrams from Athens state that the opinion .there is that the marriage in November, which tooK place at the house, of a sister of the bride, is null under the civil law. Madame Manos recently attempted to assert her rights. The Government forced her to leave Greece and settle in Paris., '■
