FURTHER RETURNS
The following further- returns regarding last, month's rainfall have been received: —
Ward: Rain fell on six days, and the total for the month was 1.82 in., o? which. 1.20 in. fell on the 18th. The Delta: Out of the total for the month of 1.74 in.. 1.06 in. fell on March 19. The quantity recorded for the first three months of this year was 15.32 in., cpmpared with 3.16 in. for the corresponding period last
year. , , Picton: There were seven days witli rain in March, the total for the month being 3.t35in , 2.36 in. being recorded on the JBth. During February 6.70 in. fell, on ten days, the heaviest fall for one day being 1.34 in. on the 25th. The first quarter of 1920 has been particularly wet, 18.75 in. having fallen, compared with 5.33 in. for the first three months of 1919.
