Frank Kecnan is said to present itho finest work o*f his cai-eer in the .dual rale of a badi man and a good man in Pathe's "The Midnight Stage," screening at His Majesty's Theatre to-night and Monday. The story is of old California in the days of gold rushes, when n. gambler belonged to an honorable profession. Keeman differentiates in the two characters he impersonates, and leaves no room for confusion. Bach is played with wonderful force, and the story rises to an unforgetnible climax. A fine supporting programme is also'promisecV and the symphony orchestra under tJio leadership of Mr Whitley will play the latest in music.
