SYMPATHETIC ATTITUDE TO
FRANCE
[Press Association.] (United Service.) (Received April 8, 5.5 p.m.) : LONDON, April 7. Lord Derby has been instructed to make clear the causes of the meeting of Allied Ambassadors in Paris. He states that British statesmen view the German situation pretty much from tho French standpoint, with an undoubted sympathetic attitude; but, it is unlikely that the British will /take part in the occupation.
