OKRYSOLAUS AND POITREL .WIN.

SYDNEY, April T. Tlie weather was fine for the third day of the Randwick meeting. There was "a good attendance, and the course was fast. Artilleryman ran unplaced in the All-Aged Stakes. Ohrysolaus demonstrated that he was unlucky to Jose in the D'oncaster. Ho was badly placed most of the journey, but paralysed the opposition in the last furlong. Poitrel retained tho weight-for-age championship, easily defeating Millieme and Kennaquhair in the Cumberland Stakes. Following are the results:—

Second Hurdle Race: Mountwood (10.5) 1, Thaletas (12.7) 2, Grapheme 3. There were eight starters. Mountwood came away in the straight and won easily by two lengths. Time, 4min 41 3-osec, a record.

•All-Aged Stakes: Chrysolaus (8.12) 1, Molly's Robe (8.12) 2, Sir Ibex (8.12) 3. Eight starters. Molly's Robo made most of the running, but Chrysolaus from the back of th 3 field overhauled the leaders in the straight and won,easily by 1} lengths. Time, lmin 37£ sec—a Raridwick record

Coogee Handicap: Hyndes (7.7) 1, Miss Antoinette (7.8) 2, Silverton (6.13) 3. Seventeen starters. Won by 11 lengths) Time, lmin 52isec.

Easter Stakes: Speciality (?.9);1, Wirriway (7.2) 2, Amenta (8.0)^3. Elighteen' starters"! Waitea led ay the distance, where Speciality overhauled the leader and won by 1\ lengths. Time, lmin 26J-sec.

Cumber^nd Stakes: Poitrel (9.4) L Milliemo (7.3) 2, Kcnnaquhr.ir (9.4) 3. The only starters. Poitrel went to the front in the straight and easily defeated Millieme by threequarters of a length. Time, 3min 33sec. City Handicap: Senbound (7.0) 1, Greg"(7.B) 2, lanor (7. 12) 3. Ten starters. Won by a length. Time, 2min 44^sec.
