After being runners-up in 1917 and 1918, the Marlboro ugh College Senior Cadets have succeeded in 1919 in winning tho Weekly Press Challenge Shield, open to all Senior Cadet companies in the South Island. In addition to the Shield there is a, medal for each member of the team and a money prize af £10. Lieut. H. Hobson is in command of the company, and for this match lie had the valuable assistance of Lieut. A. J. Maclaine, of the 10th M.R. A great deal of carefully supervised practice insulted m the fine average of 64.5 The match was fired in December under the supervision of Cfc.pt. 'Logan, N.Z.S.C. The scores were as follows: —
