A Whakatane message states that there was no news of the missing scow Kahu at noon to-day. The Customs officials are making active inquiries. Captain Berridge, brother-in-law of the Kahu's engineer, Mr Samson, left Whakatane to-day for Ta-uranga and Auckland to secure a suitable search vessel.
