MARLBOEOUGH V. THOENDON.

This game, commenced on Boxing Day, was continued on Saturday, Marlborough winning by an innings and 113 runs. Marlborough on the first day scored 366. Thorndon batted on Saturday 'morning,. the wicket being on the soft sdde after the rain overnight. The visitors were never comfortable, and before lunch were all out £br 88, Thomas, who went in 2nd wicket, remaining not out with 29. He.-played a careful, solid ini.ings.
