Mr Corcy continued his campaign fit Hayelock Suburban last evening. Mr.Crispin occupied the chair.' The icandidatb: dealt ( extensively with the land settlement scheme. He said that to develop the country there mustr be closer settlement, and there could be nothing better than putting; tho soldier on the land. If this were accomplished! better means of communication would have to be provided m the way of good roads and good -rail.rays. In the course of. his speech Mr, Cony dealt forcibly .with the various questions of the diayi, and ait the close of the address he wa& aooorded a hearty vote of thanks, on the motion of Mr McDowell, seconded by Mr Newman.
