IRONFOUNDERS' STRIKE.
[Pbebs Association.] Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, Nov. 17. ' Representatives of the Ironfound-
i ers' Union are seeking a conference ! with the employers. It is hoped that lit will result m a settlement of the ' strike, which has lasted for seven ! weeks and directly involves 50,000 ! men, but the number of dependent industries seriously affected is increasing daily. Several large motor-car firms threaten to close down unless there is a speedy settlement.
