The biggest highway robbery during -recent .years occurred in County Masked thieves, wearing', their ■■ clothes', inside .'Out and bags tied.over their boots, held up two bank managers going to a fair and robbed them >of £18,000. • The managers were armed with revolvers, but they were gagged and tied to. the-wheels of a cart while the highwaymen .emptied tiieir .moneybags and .escaped.
