LIVELY MEETING AT CHRISTCHURCH.
CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 19
There was a lively incident at a meeting addressed by Mr L. M. Isitt in St. Matthew's Schoolroom. A woman who had been, interjecting lefused to keep silent, which drew the remark from Mr Isitt: "She has been jut Tip to upset this meeting." An elderly' man, after remonstrating v ith the woman, attempted to carry her out, and immediately all was uproar. For a period a free fight raged in the middle of the hall, during which the woman got back to her seat and the man who tried to carry her out was knocked down.
Order ultimately was restored, and the candidate proceeded with his address.
