Old Bill, Bert, and Alf, who make most of the story, are soompared to rfc'he three musketeers; but the latter characters were never Jrarnaza heroes as Old Bill, Bert, and Alf. A thread of love interest is Interwoven through the delightful six acts of wholesome human comedy. ''The Better 'Ole" may be summed up as a play of sunshine, with an occasional cloud of pathos and intermittent summer shower of broad humor. Special music accompanies the picture, played by His Majesty's Orchestra. The box-plan is at the Central News A-geney.
