WEDDING.
McGIRR—DALY,
At Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church on Tuesday last the weßding took place of Mr H. M. McGirr, son of Mr and Mrs W. P. McGirr, of Seatoun, and Miss Dorothy Theresa Daly, of Wellington, the officiating minister being the Rev. Dr Elliott. The bride wore a graceful frock of white charmeuse satin and georgette, with an embroidered veil, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The bridesmaid was Miss Dorothy Oben, of Blenheim, who was daintily dresesd in pink crepe dei chine, with a Leghorn hat, trimmed with pink roses and black velvet streamers. Mr L. McGirr was the best man. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a pair of aquamarine earrings, and to the bridesmaid a white amethyst brooch. The wedding breakfast took place at Dustiri's, and later the bride and and bridegroom left by motor for a trip to the Wadrarapa, the bride's travelliqg costume being a fawn coat and skirt, worn with a white hat.
