EVANS. —In loving memory of John William Evans, of Wantwoodl, who departed this life on November 19, 1918, at Christchurch, ot pneumonia; aged 50 years. He loft his home in perfect health, He lifctlo thought of death so nigh, But God saw best to tiake Mm home, And with His will we must comply. The shock was great, the pain severe, Tto part with one we loved so dear.

Wo miss you, oh, so soie^ And as the days ioll ; onward, We miss you more ,and more. 'Tis one year since wo lost'you, And our hearts are a/ehing still, For a place is vacant :n our home, Which never can be filled. —Inserted by his grieving wife and son.
