AUSTRALASIAN WOOL AUCTIONED.
(Reuters Telegrams.)
. Sept. 18.. It is officially announced that the British Government is auctioning 50,000 bales of Australasian wool as Eoston at the end of November.
It is believed that further such auctions will be held monthly in America.
It is understood that the congestion in the ports, the difficulties with the wool-combers, and the question of settling exchange partially explain tlie decision.
