The Farmers' Conference recorded the opinion that the most effective means of preventing the extinction of the wheat Industry is for the Fed;eial Government to guarantee- a minimum price of 5s 6d per bußhel i'or a. period of three'years, that no •wheat be sold for local consumption at less than the export parity, and that milling wheat now held by various pools ibe not sold locally pr for export at less than 7s per bushel.
