VESSEL BEACHES NELSON.

NELSON, July 16. The steamer Kowhai, which was refloated at high water last night, reached Nelson under her own steam to-day.
She shows little outward sign of her six weeks' buffeting on Farewell Spit, though she.is still taking in water, and the pumps' will have to be kept going till she reaches Wellington, where repairs will be effected.
