Official disclosures show that Bold Pasha, who was arrested for espion-< age in Paris, received advances amounting to 1,600,000 dollars from yon Bernstorff in order to buy up the French press in favor of Germany. Details of the plot show that the? money was deposited in a New York bank and relayed to other banks before reaching 8010 Pasha. Detailed evidence has been sent td France, and it is expected that the entire web of German plotting Tiii America will shortly be revealed. The Attorney-General's statement shows that 8010 Pasha' acted cleverly. He deceived the bankers and visited W.t R. Hearst at his home. He gave no indication that it was more than al social visit.- The Attorney-Genera* is further investigating 8010 Pasha's activities.
