The full list of the shareholders in the Standard Oil Company, together with a statement of; individual'fooldi ings, has been given to the New York Press. It appears that Mi- J; D. Rockefeller, who is far and away ; the largest stockholder, with about one-' fourth of the entire stock, to Ms credit, received on or-dbbut March 1 a cheque for £97,340, representing dividends due him for the first quarter of 1917. His holdings, on that date wore close to 75,000 shares, or 25 per cent of the 300,000 shaves of capital stock outstanding. As the stock is boing quoted at about £171 a share, Mr Rockefeller's holdings in this one company alone are worth about 13} millions sterling. This, however, is only a small fraction of the-total value of the Rockefeller Standard Oil holdings, which ■•several month's?; ago were estimated at approximately 100 millions sterling. A list of all the stockholders, •; -ompiled by the "Oil Trade Journal," shows that next to Mr Rockefeller-, Mr Charles W: Harkness, of Neiv York,- is thY largest ?£°£!& oi,der hl tlle company,- with 13,328; shares.
