THE NEW THEATRE.
A series of high-class photo-plays will be screened at the Orangie Hall to-night (Tuesday;, led by the latest Metro -masterpiece, "The Wager,''' featuring the brilliant emotional actress, Eirily Stevens, in the title role. . The play is filled with powerful dramatic situations. In one of these Emily Stevens, as Daisy Doyle, is induced by Police Commissioner Stone to relieve a jeweller of gems, ; so that Stone may win a wager. The complications that follow form the basis of the powerful play.. The supporting items include the latest Official War Budget, an up-to-date Metro Travelog, and a screamingly funny Metro Figman comedy, "Ducks is. Ducks,"'which is something new in the fun-producing line.
