JAPAN'S THREE SQUADRONS

A message from Tokio states that Japan has three naval squadrons on active service. One is in the Indian seas, another is in the Mediterranean, and the third is engaged on a special mission. Newspapers and the public are • gratified because Japan's active participation must mean greater influence during the peace settlement.
