RACING STAKES IN LOAN CERTIFICATES.
SYDNEY, July 2. With ; a view to assisting the war loans, the A.J.C. has decided to pay 50 per cent, of the added money "to the various events in the shape of war savings certificates. The Federal Government will appoint committees of various sporting bodies in the different districts to make recommendations as to the reduction of sport.
