DUNEDIN, April 26

Tlie Federated Timber Workers, sitting in conference at Dunedin, resolved: "That the Government be condemned Tor their failure to protect the consumers of the Dominion from exploitation since the commencement of the war; that the conference regret their failure to- provide for^ direct Labor representation on the Board of Trade; that the conference protest r.gainst the recent Order-in-Council dealing with the suspension of the urider-rat'e workers clause in awards, also the provisions in the Arbitration Act dealing with the same matter in connection with the employment ••*>!' discharged soldiers. 3'
