NEW ZEALAND NURSES IN EGYPT.
WELLINGTON, April 26. The Defence Department lias re'■•ceived intimation from Egypt that 335 nurses are on tho New Zealand Esr petitionary Force books there, of v horn 20.1 are now being paid by the "New Zealand Defence Department. Of these only 91 are ornployed in New .'Zealand establishments.
General Godley suggests that tto nurses be' sent there at present; ,> ;, - . ~.', ". .;-. . ■;•.
