STATEMENT BY IRISH SECRETARY.
(Received Ajgl^M.Mjgn^ Mr Birrell (Chief Secretary for Ireland) stated in the House of Commons that -grave disturbances tod occurred in Ireland, and that twelve people had been killed. _ The situation was, however, well in hand.
