MARLBOROUGH RAINFALL
RECORDS FOR LAST YEAR. Rainfall records taken in various parts of Maryborough last month are as follows:—Blenheim: 71 points oil 4 days. Spring Creek: 1.05 inches on 6 days; fall for previous December, •1.27 inches on six days. Ward (Flaxbourne): 1.46 inches oh 3'days; heaviest fall 55 points on the 27th; fall for1 previous December 67 points.Timara: 1.22 inches. Hartley Hills (Hiliersden): 1.66 inches oh 4 days* ■heaviest-fall- 70 points bti the 28th:'. ..."[ The total" rainfall "registered ar Blenheim during 1915 .was 16.34. inches, distributed over .102 days!. The heaviest rains were- in March, 3.8 \ inches, and .in November, 2.9 inches. ! For 1914 the Blenheim. total was i 15.11 inches, which fell on 86 days, j the heaviest falls' being in. May, 2.5 j inches, March, 2.3 inches; and January, 2.1 inches. During the last six months of 1914 only 3.7 inches fell; for the corresponding i>eriod of this year there were 8.6 inches. At Spring Creek last year 19.60 inches foil on 95 days. This is much below the- average for the last 20 years, which is about 27 inches. Dining last year 16.71 inches fell at Ward, as against 17.16 inches for the previous year. The Timara rainfall for 1915 was 21.39 inches, compared with 16.28 inches for- 1914. The annual average there for the last 14 years has been 27.03 inches.
