The Department ol Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has re- j coived the following cablegram from the .High Commissioner for New Zealand, dated London, 16th October, .1915. Nominal price here is 184s to 190.5; Siberian, a good demand for finest; low grade, slow, 136s to 1425; Irish creamery, the market is dull and at the doc-line, per cwt., 168s to 1765; United States, a good demand, London «.nd Liverpool, cost, insurance, freight, 148s to l£4s; spot market, 150s to 1655, according to quality. . ■ Cheeso.—rThe nurkct is hrm, with an upw;ud tendency. Canadian, steady demand, market stronger,wliite and colored, 77s to 80s; English Cheddar, firm, a good demand, 94s to 96; Cheshire, 90s to 100s; New Zealand: The spot market is practically cleared, whit© and colored, 76s to 78s; United States,"72s to 765; fine, CSs to 70s. Hemp.—The market is very quiet. There has been nothing doing during this week, bub to-day business is apparently improving, arid the market is firmer.
