THE IRETREAT CONTINUES. (Received Auge2, 10.40 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, Aug. 2. An Austrian communique says: We atformed the Russian lines near "Knrow. and forced our way in tlie ■direction of Novo Alexandria. The ■ enemy are still resisting here,, also on the east'tank of the Vistula and near "Lublin, but continue to retreat from this sector to the. Bug. The Austro-Germans in July captured 12,836 prisoners, 16 cannon, -a-ruit: 202 machine-guns.
