Mr Jacombs, a barrister of Vila-, who has returned from & visit to England in connection with New Hebrides matters, particularly regarding the working of the Condominium, states (that it is not likely that there will be any change in the administration of the New Hebrides for some time at ■any rate. The outbreak of the war brought the sittings of the New Hebrides Commission to an abrupt close; but he unofficially gathered thait the main result was a, decision to continue the Condominium arrangements.
