The Times, in a leader, says:' "One point still requiring further" e/nphasis is the proof' of Imperial solidarity supplied by the participation oi H.M.S. New Zealand in the North Sea fight. The whole Empire may be proud of this fine warship, built by our brethren at the othei end of the world. It was able to do excellent service."

The Admiralty reports that the British armed merchantman Viknor lias been lost with all hands in a gale <or throrljsh striking a mine off the north of Ireland, where bodies \ and wreckage were found.
