CHURCH BELFRY BADLY SHAKEN.

TOWN HALL TOWER COLLAPSES

(Received Jan. 14 2.45 p.m.) ROME, Jan. 13. The belfry of the church of St. Andrea- Delle Frate was badly shaken by* the earthquake, and is in danger of falling. The statue of St. Paul fell from San Giovanni in the ESsterano.

The inhabitants of Monte Rotondo fled in a panic. Two storeys of tho tower of the Town Hall fell, damtaging the lower portion. Two people were killed and many injured. Several houses collapsed at Beroli, causing a number of fatalities.
