DESTRUCTION BY FIRE.
[Pbem Association.] WELLINGTON, Jan. 13. A 'Are in Cuba Street destroyed a wooden building occupied by Messrs Ihincan and Macintosh, drapers, last evening. The fire originated in a room used by the occupiers as a spare stock room. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The insurance on the building is £2000. Duncan and Macintosh had two separate policies of £1000 each in the Atlas Office on the stock and fittings, and also a policy for £2000 in the Alliance Company.
