TURKISH OFIFCERS EXECUTED

FOR DISRESPECT TO GERMANY

A massacre of Armenians between Lakes Van and Noza is reported. Many Christians in the Azerbaijan and Alaskert Valley have died from hunger and cold. Fifty thousand refugees have reached the Caucasus

Enver Pasha executed several officers at Erzeram for expressing disi*espect for Germany. Turirish prisoners were brought in in tears. They vehemently denouncethe Germans for ruining Turkey. Official: Severe fighting occurred at Karaugan. The Russians took 1500 prisoners, including 11 officers belonging to the Ninety-second Infantry ; destroyed. a hattalion of the Fifty-second, tho remnant of which was taken prisoner; captured a.hill in Turkish territory, and seized a depot of artillery with shells' and cartridges.
