(Received Jan.. 13, 8,55 <p.xa.) AMSTERDAM, Jan. 13. Turkish headquarters deny the defeat at Sarykamisih. They allege' that operations are delayed owing %q the snow, and th© Riussians merely attacked and eapofcurcaj \a.transport -of Turkish wounded.
[A Russian military expert considers that the Turkish defeat at 'Sarykainish overshadows yon, Moltke's .overwhelming defeat of fcfoe French at Sedan. It was the first time in military, history that two large armies ifoughtat an altitude of ten thousand [feet, in severe winter weather.]
