Griffiths and Son report on their feale held at Flat 'Creek (Rai Valley) Jresterday as follows: There was a, arge attendance, including numbers of outside representatives. Bidding, however, was not of a spirited nature, but under the hammer and by private treaty the catalogue with two exceptions was quitted. Vendors' 5 values were slightly in advance of 'jthose of the buyers. The recent ; rains have had a wonderful Effect on the feed in the -R&i district, and vendors having a plentiful supply are not disposed to quit at "store prices. The firm quote as follows: Fat steers £8 Bs, dry cows -£Q, £5 2 £4 10s, £4, to £3 ss, young calves 30s, store 'wethers and ewes T4s.
