Niagara, from-Van-couver, due 11th January at land ; 12,000 bushels per s.s. Waitemata, from Vancouver, due 14tM . January at Wellington; 97,000 bushels • per s.s Hornelen, from Vancouver,, (date not fixed); 252,000 i bushels per s.s. Hesperas, from St. John, duesecond week in February; 100,000' bushels per s.s. Kaiapoi, from Sydiiey, due. in a few days; total 501,000 bushels. It will. be seen that there is due to arrrvie in the Dominion over half a'^nillion bushels of wheatShould it be found in February, wheiS the results of the harvest can be very, closely estimated, that there is any likelihood' of a shortage raising th^ • price of wheat unduly, there is nodoubt that the importations will h& largely augmented. ■ BmiAJ)^
