BELGIAN RELIEF FUND.

At an influential and representative meeting: ■of Picjfcon ladies, held yesterday afternoon, it was decided to make a special effort to raise a substantial sum for this worthy cause. The effort is ito take the form of a Gala Day, .and will b© held on Wednesday, 25th November, being the date of the first of the season excursions from Blenheim to the Sounds. Tradespeople are being: asked to help in making the day a great success by closing their business places
