At a special mteetiing of the Waterside Workers- Union a few days ago a resolution was carried calling upon tho executive of the body elected when the Arbitration Union was formed during the strike to .resign forthwith.

The resignatdons were at once handed in, and la^t night the union held a meeting for tli© purpose of electing an executive composed entirely of exstrikers. •'■ ■■

Mr Tyrel], the new .secretary, received 128 votes against 21 cast for Mr Summers, the secretary of t!he original Arbitration Union.
