Curry. av:l Co. held their weekly auction aale- -on Saturday, and report a. good attendance of buyers and satisfactory competition for the majority of lines offered. Pigs (weaners) were in. good demand, and realised 13s to Ms tkl. Feed wheat, IGs; potatoes, 7s to 7s Gd; feed barley, 8s; peas, 8s to 12s per sack. Pickling onions, Id per lb. ; apples, prime dessert, l-*d; cookers, lid per lb.; tomatoes, 2d; sauce, lid to 1-Jd par lh.; vegetable marrows ajid pumpkins ■Jet per lb. Rugs, skin mats, and sundries sold at moderate prices.
