A MYSTERIOUS ILLNESS.

ASHBURTON, -April 18. A passenger-on the slow train from Christchurch to Ashburton last evening was found in an unconscious condition on arrival of the train. He was taken -to the hospital, where he is still unconscious. An examination of his personal papers revealed his identity- as :that of George Cook who recently resided at Lumsden and other places.in Southland.
