STATE ASSISTANCE ASKED FOR

APPALLING CONDITIONS

Clancy, in the House of .Commons, ■•■requested the Government to provide State assistance on a generous scale to remedy the appalling conditions prevailing in Dublin*' Mr'Brady stated that if all the houses unfit for habitation were closed more than half the population would be in the streets.
