The steamer Wallarah, of 633 tans, thfe property of the Wallarah Coal Comp any j drifted on a reef in a heavy gale at Catherine Hill Bay and became a total wreck. The crew of seventeen were rescued with difficultly by moans of a rocket line. The vessel was insured for £8000.
