_ ■ GISBORNE, April 17. A. Portuguese named Nathaniel de hoitza, aged SO years, was found in a clying condition at Ngatapa on Wednesday morning, evidently having taken a dose of poison. He subeedied. Deceased kept a boarding-house and dining-rooms for railway workers. He was found at his residence as the men went over for breakfast. He was in the severest possible pain. The theory is "that the poison was taken in mistake.
