DESTRUCTION BY FIRE

WELLINGTON, March 24. An unoccupied house of seven rooms at Island Bay, owned by Larney Bros., of Te Aixxha,' was destroyed by fire early this morning. It was injured for £600 iii the Alliance office.
•miARQ, March 24. A seven-roomed house alt Temuka, occupied by Hugh Hoare, was burned with its contents on Sunday night. The fire was started by 'Mrs Hoare exploding a kerosene lamp b,y blovying vdown the chimney to extinguish it.
