At a meeting of the national executive of the Political Reform League at Wellington- to-day the following motion was passed: "That the executive desires to -express its -sense of the great loss sustained by the Dominion in the death of Sir William Russell, and to place permanently on record its appreciation-of the many and valuable service? rendered by Sir William as a public man, and of the high standard of conduct and lofty ideals always maintained by that gentleman. The executive also desires to express respectful sympathy with Lady Russell and members of her family'in their sad- bereavement.—Press Association.
