[Press Association.] (Received June 20, 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 20. Mr McKay's request for a recount at Ballarat "has been refused, on the ground that notfhing has been disclosed to justify it. .Mr .Hedges, the unsuccessful Liberal candidate for Perth, has notified his intention to test the legality of the election.
